Yes, tomorrow (Friday) is officially two weeks from baby's due date.
Several things are still true:
:: We are still waiting for him to name himself (or for a bolt from the blue)
:: We aren't sure exactly how we'll configure our nap time sleeping/quiet time
:: We don't know when he'll arrive, although he gave us a little scare this week
:: The siblings are expectant, but perhaps not as impatient as their mama
People keep asking if I am ready...
What does this mean, ready? Somewhere out there must be a mama who is ready for baby to arrive in all the senses that might be true. For example, that mama has a nursery decorated, meals prepared in advance and in the freezer, and she has a neatly packed bag. Her laundry is probably even caught up.
Or, maybe it's just the mama who is so monumentally uncomfortable that moving baby outside will make the world easier.
I am neither of these kinds of ready. Actually, I am more comfortable now that I've been much of this pregnancy. Big like a barge, but not terribly uncomfortable. And, I know all about the challenge of a stubborn two year-old and a baby carrier. Let's just say baby is easier to carry this way. He also sleeps through the night this way...
But, I am not particularly patient. A part of me would like to put an end to the waiting. The flip side of that is the recognition that a mama only has a short time to feel a baby move beneath her skin.
We've suggested to baby that there are several dates that aren't ideal. For example, C has his chili feeds and important visit from his boss next week. February 29, although a very interesting day to be born, isn't the day we'd select.
As promised though, we'll let you take your positions on when you think Attilla the Hunt will arrive. To make them official, please put them in the comments for this post.
In the interest of fairness, I'll mention that the official due date is March 9. There has never been a baby born early in this family, and we aren't really running early kind of people. However, I am measuring bigger, and the doctor is guessing baby to be bigger, than previous arrivals too.
And, if you think you know what we'll name baby, you can guess that too ;)
1. You're just trying to get viable name ideas not have a contest!
2. That "ready mama" has either a mental disorder or a staff.
3. I love love the pixs :-)
4. In terms of the game - I've had 4 kids, I got nuthin on any guess of date or time. ;-) good luck w both!

Ooh - I vote for a March 7th arrival date..
All of these photos you have posted lately are just lovely lovely lovely. You have a beautiful family!
Hmm, I am biased I know...but I think that Micah would be a nice addition to your family. :) It fits right in with your sweet boy names.
Can't wait to see this lil man!

Those pictures are lovely! Aren't you glad you did them? Family picture is on my 2012 list...
Well, you know I love the name Silas. :) And March 8 seems like a good day to be born. If you are looking for a specific time - I don't have a guess but I would pray it would be when babysitting is available and Curtis is home :)

I was going to say March 8 but I see Melanie took that. So I am going to go March 6. 11:42 am. I'm thinking you will name him Micah Samuel Hunt. Or Attilla.

I am thinking the 29th would be really fun. A Leap baby boy. I don't know about a name maybe you will have to see him first and then a name will just fit.
I too love the photos.
As far as being ready, really are any of us really READY. Just take time to enjoy all the fun a newborn is.

The Ides of March. I like it. I say March 15. :) And for a name I say Caleb. :)

Ah, Anne... It is not a shortage of names on the table that is creating the problem for us. There are many, many names that are good options. As Melanie knows, I really do like Silas and Seamus too, for that matter. However, there is an issue with agreeing.
But, don't worry, he won't remain nameless forever, as calling a boy 'Baby' into his high school years might lead to him getting picked on.

Personally I like March 23, but as that is two weeks 'over'due I won't put that on you.
March 9, birthday of my sister, is a beautiful day. :D

March 4 is the most active/positive birthday in the calendar year, so I'll pick that.

I vote March 1.
Your family photos are stunning. I absolutely LOVE all the hands on your belly. Especially with the nail polish.
No one is ever "ready," but I remember begging my doctor for a c-section just to GET IT OUT. I never enjoyed pregnancy. There, I said it out loud.

OK, I want to ammend my name guess. I still think you will go with a Bible name, though, and I like the continuation of names that end -AH. So I will guess Noah or Obadiah.
You know my Z was born in a leap year with a March 9 due date, and we managed to avoid Feb. 29, which was my preference as well. As it happened, he was born on his actual due date. Whatever date baby picks, odds are very good that we will eat cake in his honor on that day. :) I'm already planning on at least 7 cake eating occasions in March in honor of our three. :)

Jeremiah, Josiah or Isaiah in keeping with tradition...Addison might be a nice twist on Attila.
Karnop would be a cool middle name.
Although I am still sad it was not February 20, I will go with March 2. 2:20 pm 7 lbs 15 oz. While it would be easier for you with Curtis' schedule, I'm guessing Baby does not have those dates on his day planner. :)
